I think a big problem is his clearly aggitated expression. Even when Gil Kane took Ray into Burroughs territory, his more savage leanings were tempered by a nobility and clear intellect lacking in Gomez's piece. <BR/><BR/>Also, what the hell is wrong with his eyes? If this card had come out today, there'd be cries against the equally inappropriate "Yellow Peril" take on Ryan Choi. But on the bright side, for all its faults, this card can still wipe its backside with the Martian Manhunter art from this set.
