Another Atom card?

That's right. This one is a real treat. Looks like a Dwayne Turner Power of the Atom card to me, with a really sweet background. It's got all sorts of assorted stats on the back, for some RPG I'm assuming.

Hero Points: 90

Is that out of 100? Seems pretty good. Unless Airwave is running around with like a 238 somewhere.

Howdy, I'm a regular over at the Aquaman Shrine, and I saw your link there. I'm a big fan of the Atom, as well as the Sea King, so I just thought I'd pop over and check it out. Let me congratulate you on a great blog! I know you're just starting, but I'm looking forward to lots of Atom news and blogging. Thanks for this little dose of the Tiny Titan!

The card is from DC Heroes RPG 2nd edition, my favorite superhero role-playing game.

Hero Points are a kind of experience point which you can spend during the game to push your character's limits, among other things. Superman has like 500 or something. There's no upper limit really.

To understand the other stats, you've got to understand that the system is exponential. So any stat at, say, 5 is twice as powerful as 4, and half as powerful as 6. It's what keeps Lois Lane's Strength from being 2, and Superman's then being 100 bazillion. (Superman's STR is 25.)

And yes, it's totally Ray circa Power of the Atom.

Ah, thank you. Now I know where to look.
I've been on the lookout for other cards from this set (not knowing what this set was of course) that might interest me.

Is there a Jean Loring card? (very wishful thinking)

Thanks for the info!

No. The cards are part of the boxed set version of the game, mainly featuring the heroes and villains featured in the sourcebook with a bias toward the Justice League and the Titans. The cards are meant to be play aids for people playing DC characters (rather than their own heroes) for a quick look at stats.
